only sleep eases pain
pain defines.
joy, happiness, collusion
love even distrust,
having dreams, night terrors, delusions.
all are unknown in entirety.
“how perfectly goddamned delightful it is
to be sure.”
every moments considered
length is by pains
varying degree.

  2. Sleep is the one part of my day where I am nothing, and I like feeling/being nothing for a few brief hours..

I know we'll be strong enough to make it to the next bend, and that's all we have to worry about. Just get to the next bend; the next fork in the road…
